Other than from Stephen King, little has been heard regarding how authors feel about ebooks. Warren Adler, author of several bestsellers, including War of the Roses and Random Hearts, fully embraced ebooks over a year ago and shares his mostly positive experiences with the digital format on his personal website. Funded completely out of his own pocket, Adler has been able to resurrect all of his out-of-print titles in the ebook format. His titles are available in all major ebook formats, in over thirty different languages. According to a presentation that Adler made at the Electronic Book 2001 conference, his investment in ebooks is beginning to pay off, both in dollars and in expanded readership. His website and monthly e-sheet provide interesting insight into ebooks from an author's perspective.
